As a Communications Specialist, you will be responsible for:- Developing and executing internal and external communication strategies that align with Amazon's business objectives and enhance our brand's reputation.
- Crafting compelling written materials, including press releases, newsletters, social media content, and blog posts to communicate key messages to various audiences.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather insights and ensure alignment of messaging across departments.
- Assisting in the planning and execution of corporate events, community outreach programs, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Monitoring media coverage and analyzing communication trends to gauge the effectiveness of our strategies.
- Creating and managing content for our company’s digital platforms, ensuring all messaging is on-brand and optimized for search engines.
- Acting as a spokesperson for the company, building and maintaining relationships with media representatives and external stakeholders.
- Providing strategic counsel to senior leadership regarding communication during crises or significant business updates.
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, candidates should meet the following qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience (3-5 years) in communications roles with a track record of developing successful communication strategies.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and verbal communication skills with an eye for detail.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, social media platforms, and SEO best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively within teams and across departments in a fast-paced environment.
